Apple Books lets you select highlights and share them. Share them to Bring books to OBN and they arrive in that book’s journal — the selection is the whole decision.

Steps

In Apple Books, open your highlights and select the ones you want.
Share, then Bring books to OBN.
If Nook can’t be sure which of your books it is, it asks once: Same book?
It returns you to Apple Books.

Apple doesn’t include a dependable edition id in a share, so the first time you may be asked which of your books it is; after that Nook remembers.
Because you choose what to share, every import is marked partial — Nook can’t know what you left out.
